How to use it
Enter a title to create a lowercase, hyphenated slug for a page or article.
Good to know
Review the result for non-Latin text. A readable slug does not guarantee search rankings.
Turn a page title into a clean path
Paste a title to make a simple URL slug. For example, Café & Tea! becomes cafe-tea. The tool lowercases the text, removes combining accent marks, replaces runs of characters outside a-z and 0-9 with one hyphen, and removes hyphens at either end.
Use it as a starting point for a page URL
A heading such as Summer sale: 50% off becomes summer-sale-50-off. Copy that result into the path field of your CMS if it accepts plain slugs. It avoids spaces, punctuation, and repeated separators, which makes a path easier to read and share.
Review non-Latin text and existing URLs
This is not a transliteration service. Characters outside a-z and 0-9 are treated as separators after accent removal, so a title written entirely in another script can produce an empty result. Review mixed-language titles too. The tool does not check whether a slug is already in use, reserve it on your site, or redirect an old URL after you change one.
A readable slug helps people understand a link, but it does not determine search ranking. Keep an established URL when changing it would break shared links unless your site can add an appropriate redirect. Inputs up to 100,000 characters are processed locally in your browser.
