Aspect ratio calculator
Reduce image dimensions to an aspect ratio and calculate the height at 1,080 pixels wide.

How to use it
Enter width and height to simplify their ratio and calculate a proportional size.
Good to know
Use positive whole-number dimensions. Both values must use the same unit.
Reduce dimensions to a ratio
Enter width and height in the same unit. A 1,920 × 1,080 image reduces to 16:9. The tool also shows that a 16:9 image at 1,080 pixels wide has a height of 607.5 pixels.
Use the ratio to plan a crop or layout
The reduced ratio tells you the shape without tying it to a particular resolution. If a target requires whole pixels, round a calculated dimension deliberately and check the resulting size in the destination editor.
Both inputs must be positive whole numbers. This calculator does not crop, resize, or correct a distorted image. To make a crop with fixed pixel dimensions, use the image cropper.
