Convert within one measurement family
Enter a value, choose its source unit, and choose the target. For example, 100 centimeters converts to 1 m. Temperature conversions account for their offset, so 68 °F converts to 20 °C.
Choose compatible units
Lengths convert only to lengths, weights only to weights, and temperatures only to temperatures. The available length units include meters, kilometers, centimeters, millimeters, inches, feet, yards, and miles; weights include kilograms, grams, pounds, and ounces.
The result uses floating-point arithmetic, so round it to the precision your task requires. This calculator does not convert area, volume, speed, pressure, or cooking measures. Confirm any official or safety-critical requirement against its authoritative source.
