How to use it
Pick a preset or enter hours, minutes, and seconds, then press Start. An alarm sounds at zero.

Keep the tab open for the alarm. The time left is shown in the tab title.
Set and run a short countdown
Choose a preset or enter hours, minutes, and seconds, then press Start. The button becomes Pause; pressing it preserves the remaining time, and Start resumes. Reset returns to the values currently in the inputs. When the countdown reaches zero, the page shows “Time’s up!” and attempts a three-part alarm.
The remaining duration is derived from a target time, so the next update can catch up after a delayed interval rather than counting only visible ticks.
Keep the page available
Browsers can throttle or suspend background tabs, and a sleeping device cannot play the alarm on time. Audio also depends on browser permission, device volume, and the initial Start interaction. Watch the displayed timer for anything time-sensitive; this tool does not send notifications or guarantee a background alarm.

Will the timer ring if I switch tabs?
The page attempts to sound the alarm, but background suspension, sleep, mute settings, or browser audio restrictions can delay or prevent it. Test your setup first.
Can I pause the timer?
Yes. Pause keeps the remaining time; Start continues.
