How to use it
Choose a duration, then start clicking the test area. The timer starts on your first click.
Good to know
Results depend on your mouse, touchscreen, and browser. Auto-clickers are not detected.
Run comparable attempts
Select a duration, place the pointer on the test pad, and make the first press to start the timer. Continue pressing until the pad reports the total clicks and clicks per second. For a useful personal comparison, use the same duration, input device, and technique for each run; the Best value remains for the current page session, including after Reset.
The final CPS is the number of received presses divided by the selected whole duration. During a run, the displayed rate is provisional and based on elapsed time.
Use the result as a local measurement
Mouse buttons, touchscreens, browser event handling, and the timer all affect the count. The page counts pointer presses it receives and does not distinguish intentional technique from automation or certify a score for a competition. Right-click context menus are suppressed on the pad, but results are best compared using one consistent input method.
Frequently asked questions
What is a good CPS score?
This site has no population benchmark. Compare your own attempts with the same duration, device, and input method.
How is CPS calculated?
Total clicks divided by the test duration in seconds.
Can I do a right click CPS test?
Yes. Right clicks, and taps on touchscreens, all count.
