How to use it
Enter one course per line: grade then credits, such as "A- 3" or "9 4" on a 10-point scale.
Good to know
Uses the common US 4.0 letter scale or 10-point grade points. Your school’s scale may differ.
Weight each grade by its credits
Enter one course as a grade followed by credits. On the 4-point scale, A 3, B+ 4, A- 3, and C 2 produce GPA 3.36 / 4.0 across 12 credits. The tool multiplies each grade point by credits, totals those points, then divides by total credits.
Match the scale to your institution
Letter grades are mapped only for the built-in 4-point table; numeric grades are accepted for the selected scale. Schools can use different grade values, plus/minus policies, repeated-course rules, pass/fail treatment, or percentage conversions. The 10-point “× 9.5” display is only the tool’s arithmetic convention, not a universal academic conversion. Check your institution’s transcript policy for an official GPA.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate my GPA?

How do I convert CGPA to percentage?

What GPA is an A-?
In this tool’s 4.0 scale, A- is 3.7, B+ is 3.3, and B is 3.0. Your institution may use different mappings.
