Query string parser
Read URL query parameters and retain repeated keys as arrays.
Loading the tool… JavaScript is required for processing on your device. The instructions and examples below are available without JavaScript.
How to use it
Paste a full URL or a query string beginning with a question mark.
Good to know
Each key maps to an array so duplicate parameters are retained.
Inspect parameters from a copied link
Paste a full URL or a query string. The input ?tag=tools&tag=text&page=2 becomes:
{
"tag": ["tools", "text"],
"page": ["2"]
}
Repeated keys stay repeated
Each key maps to an array, even when it appears once. Plus signs are decoded as spaces, and percent escapes are decoded. Fragments beginning with # are ignored.
The result shows what is in the query string; it does not validate a site’s parameter names or decide whether a value is safe to trust. A malformed percent escape produces an error rather than a partial result.
