How to use it

Type your text to get small caps, superscript, and subscript versions at once. Copy the style you want.

Good to know

Unicode has no tiny version of every letter; missing ones (such as superscript q) stay normal size.

Choose the style that carries the meaning

Enter a short label to receive three versions. For small text, the Small caps output begins ꜱᴍᴀʟʟ ᴛᴇxᴛ and the Superscript output begins ˢᵐᵃˡˡ. Small caps work as a visual label; superscript and subscript are more useful for a compact notation such as a footnote marker or a chemical-style label.

It is not complete typography

Unicode does not supply matching small glyphs for every Latin letter, digit, or punctuation mark, so a few characters remain normal size. These symbols also are not a substitute for semantic HTML or in a document. Check the pasted result in the destination font and avoid it for content that must be accessible or searchable.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make small text for Discord or Instagram?

Generate the style you like, copy it, and paste it into your bio, username, or message. It works anywhere that accepts Unicode.

What is the difference between small caps and superscript?

Small caps are capital letter shapes at lowercase height. Superscript letters sit higher on the line, like the ² in m².

Why are some letters normal size?

Unicode only defines small versions for certain letters. Those without one are left unchanged so your text still reads correctly.
