Mark a revision in a plain-text message
Select Strikethrough, Underline, or Slash, then enter the text to mark. In strikethrough mode, crossed out becomes c̶r̶o̶s̶s̶e̶d̶ o̶u̶t̶. It is useful for a short correction or a playful before-and-after line where the destination has no formatting control.
Know how the line is produced
The tool adds a combining Unicode mark after each non-space character. Different fonts can place that mark higher, lower, or unevenly, and text selection can feel awkward. It does not communicate deletion semantics to a screen reader, so state the correction plainly when the change matters.

A combining long-stroke character (U+0336) is placed after each letter, so the line travels with the text when you paste it.
