Make a consistent literal replacement
Enter the text to find and its replacement. With red fish, red fish, find red, and replace blue, the result is blue fish, blue fish.
Matches are literal and case-sensitive
The tool does not treat the find value as a regular expression. It replaces exact occurrences, including punctuation and case, so finding Red does not replace red. The find value cannot be empty.
Review a replacement that might occur inside a larger word, URL, code sample, or name. For a visual before-and-after check between whole drafts, use the text compare tool.
